Wordless Wednesday: The KY Derby (or why it's important to mount the fastest stud)

Admittedly, corn hole has nothing to do with the Derby...but the Derby is "the most exciting 2 minutes in sports"...what are you going to do the other 3 hours and 58 minutes? Grill brats and play corn hole. And drink bourbon tea, of course. Unless you are Neal. And then you will look ridiculous (or adorable if you're married to him) in a jockey hat and hold up plates that say "Talk Derby to Me." Because that's how we roll in the Bluegrass State.

  1. LOOOOVE the hat. I've never been to the Derby, or a Derby party, but I have more than a little bit of a love affair with Derby hats. Don't tell Brian.

  2. Love it! Nothing is more fun than corn hole and grilling out. One of these days I am determined to have a Derby Party where everyone dresses up and wears the fancy hats.

  7. So I found out at Stagecoach (the concert, not the restaurant, which we do actually have in my hometown. BEST Buttermilk Biscuits ever. Add that to the list of reasons why you need to come visit) that I actually suck balls at cornhole.
