Third Shift

Somewhere in the genius department of my mind, I decided that getting on Paris time before actually arriving in Paris next week would be a stellar idea. No more zombie-walking through cobblestone streets in impractical attire. I will arrive alert and functioning!

Except I went to bed at 7:15 last night and slept until 2:30 this morning...which is 8:30 AM Paris time. Right on schedule. But I missed our From the Sidelines Fantasy Football draft at 10:30 PM last night and had to allow my team, A Few Good Men, to auto-draft. Hop on over to From the Sidelines to find out how that worked out for me!

Also? Third shift workers? You have my undying respect. I never realized how bff the sun and I are until this week.

  1. It will absolutely be worth it next week, Girl. have a great trip.

  2. I worked 3rd shift for a few years. What was most difficult was weekends or days off. It's nearly impossible to switch to a normal schedule two days out of every seven. Hope you have a great time.

  3. Hugs!! Being on european time isn't all that bad, lol!

And yes, having worked 3rd shift for years, it's realllllly hard and reallllly dorks with your system!

  4. But you are going to have SO MUCH FUN!!!

  5. You might just be super glad that you're adjusting your body clock. You just won't be glad until next week.

    When you're in Paris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    O.M.G! Have sooooo much fun!

  6. You are a champ. Maybe I'll try that for my upcoming trip to Italy. That fuzzy, off-time feeling is so uncomfortable.

  7. Hope you are having a great time and can't wait to hear about your adventures when you return! XOXO
